Welcome to
A space for hard working, dedicated and thoughtful climate professionals. You chose a career that protects life and humans and builds the future we need. It requires change and it is often both fast-moving and not moving fast enough.INSPIRE climate is there so that you can stay connected to others doing the same, and get the support you need and deserve.I want you to have staying power and perform at your best while being well. And INSPIRE climate roots itself in this simple truth: no one will solve this one alone.
Bringing people together on adventures - big and small - is one of the things I just can't help doing.I've convinced friends to run up to 25 km with me to celebrate my birthday. I brought graduate economic students and professors to participate in a research speed dating event. I brought five hydro companies together with climate researchers to breach the gap in practical knowledge to include climate data in hydrological projections for asset valuation. I've convinced 15 teenagers to drop their phones and observe the Grand Canyon with all of their senses, in silence, for 10 minutes. With INSPIRE climate, I merge together my decade of experience in climate mitigation and adaptation as an economist with my insatiable desire to bring wonderful people together on nourishing, joyful and regenerative adventures.I find that people who work in climate share in the best qualities humans can display. They dedicate themselves to their work so that other humans - and species - can have a safe, thriving existence and future. Naturally, I want to bring those people together. And find ways to pour in their proverbial cup, so it never becomes empty.
